The Cleaning Authority

The worst experience I have ever had with a cleaning company, and the worst customer service. This company claims to do a "deep cleaning" on a rotational basis every visit, Well each time things were barely spot cleaned, much less deep cleaned. I had to have them come back each time because of the horrible job they did, (spot dusting and vaccumming, counters not cleaned, bathrooms not thoroughly done), but after three times of dealing with the poor job they were doing this last visit caused me to write this review and stop payment on my check for that cleaning. I had even left an additional check for the girls for a Christmas bonus and home baked cookies thinking that these extras would insure a better job, well how wrong I was, This cleaning was the worst ever, it did not even look as if anyone had been there, plus there was a large stain on my carpet which I have no idea where it came from. Not only did they not clean my house, the cookies and additional check were gone without even so much as a thank you written on the paper they leave. I called immediately when I came home from work seeing the poor job and started taking pictures of all the areas that were not cleaned and of the large stain on my carpet. I wanted to speak to Abbie, the owner, and of course she wasn't available, but I was assured she would return my call quickly. I also asked them not to deposit my checks because of the poor job. Well of course she did not return my call so I stopped payment on the check for the cleaning, but I didn't want to pay the additional fee for the check for the girls, assuming there was no way they would cash the check. Well I was wrong, both checks were deposited, but luckily the stop payment kept the one from going through. It has been three weeks, and I still have yet to hear from Abbie even though I have left numerous messages. I am considering taking her to small claims court due to the damage to my carpet. BEWARE of this company!!!! There are too many other reputable cleaners out there!!! I learned my lesson!!!!!!

Do not hire the franchise owned by Al Swain. The cleaners ruined my 6 month old cooktop and Mr. Swain clamined no responsibility. They advertise as being licensed and insured- this is a LIE. If they damage anything in your home, he will bring the cleaners to your home and interrogate them in front of you, the cleaners will deny damaging anything because they are in fear of losing their job, and he tells you you are out of luck and the compnay can do nothing about the damage since the cleaners will not claim that they did it. This company is run without any scruples, sense of decency, and the public needs to know to STAY AWAY and DO NOT HIRE THEM.

They have cleaned our house for years and the Detail Clean Rotation System, Green Seal Certified cleansers and excellent customer service keep us loyal customers. Becky H.

Used TCA twice. Iwas pleassed with the first cleaning. The second cleaning had a different team and several items were broken. The proprietor essentially said that since I didn't see them cause the damage that I was out of luck. Really doesn't matter when they come to your house and say that they're bonded, b/c they'll accept no responsibility for damage they cause. He wouldn't even consider waivein a portion of his fee for the cleaning so I could recoup just a fraction of the cost of damage they caused. If you don't mind staying home to supervise these people you might have better luck - but invite them in unsupervised and you're taking your chances.

The Cleaning Authority has cleaned our home for 4 years and is very dependable and consistent. The Detail Clean Rotation System maintains my home with a general but thorough clean of the entire home and a rotating, detail cleaning of one of four areas. We highly recommend this service.
