My dogs go to Long Animal Hospital, and nowhere else. The staff is topnotch, and they have taken great care of my furry companions over the years. Saved two dogs' lives, and one of the doctors actually cried when I lost one. I watched the same doctor risk his own safety by running out into traffic on South Boulevard to save a dog who'd gotten away from his human. You just don't find devotion like that in many places. Oh, yeah... Saturdays are walk-ins only, and they get really busy. If you believe you're above waiting your turn, try getting there earlier or making an appointment during the week.

The best vet I have ever been to - the staff is wonderful - caring, great bedside manner, you name it. My dog has been to this vet since he was 6 weeks old and we moved out to the West Coast and have just moved back to Charlotte - this vet's office is 30 miles away from where I now live but I drive the commute because I refuse to let anyone else handle my dog - Best Vets office out there!!

My five month old puppy needed some shots and because the vet whom I really wanted to see didn't have services on Saturday, except for prescriptions, I thought I'd try this one out, instead of waiting to be seen on Monday. What a waste of TIME! I arrived and it was pretty busy, when the clerk, one of three finally took the time to wait on me, she wasn't even pleasant, Not a Hi how are you, or even any acknowledgement of my dog. So, needless to say as she pulled a folder, with paperwork for me to fill out, I decided that if I'm going to be treated as a non person, than there was little else to say except my non Visa and I just needed to leave. I promptly scribbled out our names on the waiting list and told her we would be going to another vet and walked out. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE, is all I can say. First impressions can say alot.
