Founded in 1973, LifeSpan Incorporated transforms the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities and provides educational, employment and enrichment programs. The organization serves more than 2,200 children and adults from over 40 locations in Waynesville and Burlington. Its Therapeutic Riding Center offers therapeutic horseback riding services. LifeSpan Incorporated provides a range of vocational opportunities that includes light industrial subcontracting, packaging, assembly, collating and shrink-wrapping services for numerous companies throughout North Carolina. Its day enrichment programs provide educational and enrichment activities for children.
