Our inspector, David, did a great job. He was extremely thorough and patient with our questions. He even took the time to point us in the right direction for the repairs that need to be done. I would use Home Inspection Carolina again in a heartbeat! They are excellent!

This is my first home buying experience and Clifton was an absolute delight! He was extremely thorough and explained things in great detail! I appreciate everything that he did for me during the inspection. Rudy inspected my house. I met him at the house at the end of the inspection. He gave me a walking tour pointing out the areas that were a concern and would be written up on the report. He also showed pictures on his computer of the areas that I couldn't see (crawl space, closets, attics). He also pointed out the areas that were in great shape. I asked him many questions about each of the concerns. I was extremely satisfied with his expertise. I would definitely recommend their work.

We received excellent service from Home Inspection Carolina. The inspector (Robert) completed a very thorough inspection (he spent about four hours on the inspection) and then he clearly explained the findings. He emailed us the report that evening, and the inspection report was very useful and provided photographs with arrows to clearly illustrate the issues. There was a summary of all issues he had noted, and then a more detailed report which illustrated the entire inspection.



Our real estate arranged the inspection and it was very easy to confirm the inspection by email and pay online. They also included some extra benefits like a free one year membership to the Home Owners Network.



This was not our first home purchase, it was the third house inspection we have had when buying, and I would say this was the most comprehensive and thorough inspection we received.

We are first time home buyers and were very nervous about the entire inspection process. ESP learning how manage and upkeep a house. Jeremy from home inspection carolina did two properties for us (the first he alerted us quickly to major structural damage, talked us through what that meant, how the owners had tried to cover it up, etc. we did not buy that house and Jeremy saved us a lot of future heartache). Jeremy was great at walking us around the property and not only showing us what needed to be done now and might need to be done soon, but what to look for in ten years. This was a very thorough inspection, and even my father in law who came with me commented on how he had never had such a thorough inspection in all the houses he's bought. We loved working with Tim, he was very knowledgable and courteous when we asked questions and explained what he was looking at and any concerns he was finding. The inspection report is very in depth and almost makes it look like the house is falling apart, but it will be a good to-do list for us to know what needs touch ups when we move in. We were very appreciate of the suggestions and insight that Tim gave, and we would definitely recommend this company and Tim in particular to anyone we know looking in NC (we just don't know anyone here yet who is looking!)

The inspector, Mr Mascarenas, was very professional and was very generous in allotting time to explain the inspection process and what it specifically covered, what it did not cover, and (most importantly) the reasons behind it all. He also took time to explain why some findings are basically just to make a record of condition, some findings are for discussion between the buyer and seller, and why some of the findings really should be corrected sooner as opposed to later. He is obviously a construction professional that understands the fine details but his real value is his ability to positively interact with the customer and provide understandable explanations of the process and the results. Worked with this inspection company last week (July 3rd) and couldn't have been more impressed. The inspector they sent was very professional, very thorough and extremely detailed. He went through the report with me step by step and explained items that I should focus on and items they see all the time. The report I was issued was very nice and easy to read / use. I would rate this company as 5 stars and would highly recommend them. Their price was fair and value was tremendous!

Had a fantastic experience with an inspector named Jay at this firm. Was available by mobile phone the entire inspection, gave special attention to some aspects of the home that we were concerned about, and showed an incredible attention to detail throughout. I honestly don't know if i'll ever read the report cover to cover as it was just too much and i have the attention span of a fruit fly, but if you're looking for a thorough job, these guys were great.

Run away fast. I was out of town and was trusting the inspector to work on my side. The inspection did not cover half of the house issues. The inspector did not find the mold in the closets. It was one of the first things I saw. Several light switches had tape on them. The reason I now know is that the fixtures were shorted out. This did not show on the inspection. Boards on the deck are rotten. This was not in the report either. I will not list the other misses.



The report was not useful. It would list a room but and show a picture. The text said "it does not work." Only after I got to the house did I find out what "this" was.



The work was very negligent. The report was hard to follow.



The one star is not deserved. I am not allowed to give none.

Your Inspector was wonderful! I was hesitant about spending the money for an inspection on a new construction home but I am so happy I did because the problems he found, we never would have known about. I feel very safe in our new home thanks to Home Inspection Carolina

Our Inspector did an excellent job informing us of the major problems right away and was ;thorough. The photos from the report and thermal infrared pictures;and the inspectors explanation made our decision much easier;We will request Home Inspection Carolina when we located another house for inspection.
