Great Clips

This location used to be the best Great Clips. The employees were friendly, knowledgable and you got a quick, great cut no matter whose chair you sat in. They had a great coupon policy, taking all great clip coupons, competitor coupons and even expired GC coupons. Some sort of shake up happened in the last year and the new mgr and staff are as horrible as any other location. I was told on a couple of occasions that they basically no longer accepted any coupon that wasn't issued by their specific store. After several full priced bad cuts, I quit going. I have had trouble finding another location of this chain that can consistently offer a good cut. I returned to this location today due to time constraints dictated by a business mtg. I checked in online and according to the website, there was one person ahead of me. When I arrived (15 minutes later) there were two clients seated in the two stylists chairs, two checked in ahead of me and two behind. The stylists were slow, more concerned with conversation than speedy service. I overheard one tell her client they take all coupons, even competitor's (?!). Did this change AGAIN or do they just not train all staff on the policy? This stylist was on her third client when I had to leave. The other was still on the same man's cut that she'd been working on since I arrived. Even if she'd finished and taken me, I'd likely have been there all morning at the rate she worked. If you have all day and feel like taking a gamble on your how your haircut turns out, give them a try.
