Do not retain for traffic violations! Mr. Gilles’ told me it would cost $100 to have the points taken off for a failure to stop violation and that, depending on my driving record, Mr. Gilles could have charges dropped. I'm 60 years old and have a clean driving record so I thought my chances of getting the charges dropped were very good. My original ticket was $220. In order to get the points off, Mr. Gilles' office had the ticket changed to driving with improper equipment and this is going to cost me $263!!! So including the original $100 I paid the firm, my total cost for this ticket is $363 whereas, if I had taken the half-day driving course, my points would have been erased and if I had appeared in court, my $220 ticket probably would have been reduced sizably b/c of this being my first offense and the fact that the stop was a 4-way stop in a homeowner's association. Got so duped!!!
