Curt Mobile Mechanic

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! This guy does poor work and his customer service is even more poor. He is confrontational and does an awful job. He can barely put together a literate sentence, and his work is equally as bad.

If you do decide to try to save some money like I did, you should line up another mechanic to fix his errors.

contacted Curtis at the beginning of the week 9/26/15 regarding some possible auto-work I needed done. My vehicle wouldn't start so after 4 days of him taking his time, he finally got it running. However, three days later and less than 20 miles driven, my car died again. On Wednesday 9/30/15 my car wouldn't start again. After spending $75 to get my vehicle towed to a reputable shop in Charlotte, within the first morning of being diagnosed at C.A.R.S. by another mechanic, it was no secret that some of the work I had done by Curtis was faulty and bad.

I paid Curtis $200 to install a fuel pump, fuel filter, & coil packs. He also messed with my battery without stating he would do so. The first thing the other mechanic said when they called me was that the coil packs were faulty and it looked as if they were not touched, also that the battery connection needed work as well. This tells me that Curtis did a sub-par job on my vehicle and may not of even done some work he claimed to do.

I then contacted him about a partial refund based on the situation and he was very abrasive toward me and the idea of a refund. I then made it known that I was going to file a claim against him and also take legal proceedings but still to no avail, he still was not cooperative.

My best advice is to go to a REAL mechanic who is certified, has a shop, will be honest about their work. DO NOT contact this man to do any work for you. Also, he is very unprofessional when speaking with him, responding, calling a customer back, etc...
We went numerous days where I attempted to get in touch with him and could not. If you value hard work at a good price and in a timely manner then DO NOT contact this individual. He is a crook!!!!!

Certified Scam Artist! Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle to someone who knows what they are doing!

If I could rate 0 stars I would. This mechanic is extremely un-professional. He says he is charging you a fair price for his services but then never fixes what he says he was going too. After you pay him he dodges your phone calls. He runs a a horrible business and is a Grade A scam artist. Do yourself a favor and avoid Curt.

One of the worst decisions I've ever made was to use this man for auto-service. Do yourself a favor and have it towed somewhere legitimate, this guys is a grade A hack. If I could rate less than 1 star I would.



First, he takes his sweet time, is in no rush to complete the job because if it's not his vehicle who cares! Second, he did work that was not agreed upon and then attempted to charge me for it after the fact. Mind you, this work was not agreed upon, signed on, etc..

Next, I had to have it taken into somewhere else to get the same work done less than 100 miles later!!! If that doesn't scream crook then I'm not sure what will.

He is a fantastic mechanic! He is thorough and dedicated to providing great service. He diagnosed my issues, showed me the problems and talked me through the repairs. He was a GODSEND. I was blessed to be referred to him. I will refer him to others. Kudos Curt. Thanks a Bunch :0)

I love his work. He did a transmission job in my front yard!!! It was awesome...and my car had ran great.. now I use him for all my servicing...:-)... from home!!
