Dr. Stone is a graduate of Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. After obtaining her degree, she spent several years working in both Baltimore, MD and Los Angeles, CA before she and her husband settled here in Charlotte. Dr. Stone enjoys medicine and surgery but has taken a special interest in dental health and is now our "go to" person for tooth extractions.
Vaccination
To keep your pet and other pets safe while they are in our boarding care, we request that all boarders are up-to-date on vaccinations and parasite checks.
Veterinary Ophthalmology
Her areas of professional interest include ophthalmology, dermatology, and rehabilitation. Outside of work, Dr. Coady enjoys spending time with her family, including two cats, reading, crocheting, and traveling.
Nutritional Counseling
Feline Panleukopenia (Feline Distemper) A highly contagious, often fatal disease, especially dangerous to kittens. Symptoms include loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, high fever and depression.

Parvo/Distemper/CAV-1 Most veterinarians use a core combination vaccine to protect against parvovirus, distemper virus, and CAV1. Parvovirus is a deadly viral disease that is transmitted through contact with feces of an infected dog. Canine and feline distemper occurs through contact with urine and feces and is highly contagious. The combination vaccine can be administered as early as 6 weeks of age, followed by boosters every two to four weeks until at least sixteen weeks of age.
