        Overall

        I have had the pulled pork, smoked chicken salad sandwich and the truffle fries. All excellent and plenty of food for the price.

        Great lunch!

        We were drawn to check out Smoke on the Water at 11:00 am when we were downwind of their smoker. After reading the menu posted on the window we resumed our stroll through downtown Charlevoix, but at lunch time we followed our noses and we're greeted with friendly enthusiasm when we walked in the door. We enjoyed the brisket and their homemade truffle fries and coleslaw. The brisket was yummy! Everyone at Smoke on the Water was friendly, the service was great, and the enthusiasm and energy of the staff in this newly opened little gem was contagious. You really should try it this summer.

        SOW is first and foremost a BBQ joint. We slow-smoke our meats with various fruit woods and maple wood in our smoker that sits right outside the restaurant. We pride ourselves in serving made-from-scratch food, including our own Challah bread used in our Drunken French Toast. We deliver to all downtown businesses and the marina.
