Used to be a well kept secret - but after several years of winning best of chinese restaurants by Charleston City Paper - not so secret anymore! The man & woman who run this business, young, friendly - top notch. The atmosphere is calming, tables aren't packed too close together, service is just right. And the FOOD? Oh my gosh, like no other Chinese food you've ever tasted. Not your standard asian fare, not by Charleston standards, or many other places for that matter. Simple, elegant dishes, incredible flavor - every bit of care was taken from planning of the menu to the execution of it's completion. As close to gourmet Asian food in Charleston as you are going to get - and WITHOUT having to spend too much or put up with rude service. (Tip: nice play to go for lunch during the workday too)
