Fat Buddies Two

Since this had been our first visit to Fat Buddies, we were anxious to try a signature dish. The server quickly told us that they were known for wings and fried chicken. She told us that if we wanted the fried chicken, there would be a 30 minute wait. She also told us that the wings were great but small. We decided to go with the wings. There's where the mystery begins. I don't recall the server telling us if they were pigeon or hummingbird wings. I believe she just said wings. We were lucky to get one bite of whatever bird it was. Service was slow and we had to ask another server to get our check. I noticed one customer going over to the pick up window to get her own order. Always looking for a good Chapin restaurant .... have found only one so far and this wasn't it.

where do you start on these things? there is so much about Fat Buddies that you must come and experience.



the owners take really good care of their customers and employees. The waitress are always on their game, they are really glad you help and serve the customers.



Menu...i have never had anything that was not good! Steaks are always tender and juicey. The chicken is cook when ordered, when it gets you your plate you will give it 10 min to cool. (it is the perfect take out, because by the time i get it home it is ready to eat)



but this may sound crazy but if you come by try the "big bolonga sandwich" WOW! i did not know a bolonga sandwich could taste so good.



the drinks and beer. cheapest in columbia area. normal alcohol drink is 5.50 to 8.00 depending where you go.



4.00 to 5.00 here and the there are no LIGHT POURS you get your money's worth.

I don't believe I could say enough good things about this resturant. The servers there actually know my family by name, as well as what we want. They even know what type of beer we drink. There "Buddy Fries" are sooo addictive, esp covered by malt vinegar. My mother swears they have the best baked potatoe ever made; in combonation with two there two chicken finger; meal she believes thats the greatest meal ever. I tend to switch inbetween the chicken wings and the grilled chicken sandwhich. Their chicken is always so moist, it just melts in you mouth. Every item that resturant has to offer is well worth the calories. The decor is not necessarily anything to write home about, but for the locals, they are always able to run into an old friend or two. That is what truely makes this resturant so awesome, it's kindof like the old show "Cheers." It's well worth a visit!!!!!!
