I recently started coming to Channahon Family Dentistry as of October 2011. From the very beginning the staff were outstanding. The receptionist was very helpful and patient while making my appointment trying to accommodate my hectic work schedule. She appeared very knowledgeable and explained things in great detail in a way I could understand, she even took the time to introduce each dentist one by one giving me a little bit of a background info for each. On the day of my appointment, I was greeted by a warm front desk and saw tons of Halloween posters posted everywhere, when I asked them about it they told me Dr. Kaschube, puts on a free Halloween show every year for the community. I had heard about the "magic dentist" before but completely forgot he practiced in this location so I was so excited about seeing him! Once in the chair my assistant was great, she again explained everything to me and answered a few questions I had. After the "magic dentist" did my exam, the front desk presented a treatment plan to me that had their fees and a detailed break down of what they estimated my insurance to pay, showing what my out of pocket would be. They have many payment options and were more than willing to work with me to make it happen with in by budget means. The treatment process was smooth and comfortable, Dr. Kaschube was awesome!

I had an abcess tooth, I had not been there for 2 yrs and they did not ask of any med changes.I was on a prescription that compromized my immune system so this took 6 appointments. When I called for a pain killer I waited 4 hrs in pain and I had to call back . All this for the cost of $1200.
