Amazing Nails

after looking at reviews for amazing nails, i decided to try them out because they had a pretty good rating. well whoever rated this place is on some good crack!!!! i walked in today and was immediately seated. i asked for the acrylics to be filled, painted with a black tip, and then covered in glitter, topped with a gel coating. i tried to keep an eye on my nails as they were being done, but the woman doing them seemed to keep shielding them, as i soon figured out why. she "filled" the acrylics, and then painted them (ignoring my requests to paint the tips wide) and then built up so much glitter polish that it left a mound on my nail. then she asked if that was ok! hell no!!! i asked her to fix the nail and she couldn't seem to understand what was quite obviously wrong!!! then she put on the gel coating and let it cure under the uv light, wrote up my slip and promptly hussled me out the door. i didn't want to pay or tip, but i did anyways and decided that i could just deal with a bad nail job until the next fill. it wasn't until i walked into the sunshine that i realized how bad they really were. the gel had GAPING holes in it and didn't even extend to the tips, she didn't polish the ends of the nail, she filed the sides down so bad that im now going to have to pay for a premature new set, meanwhile she didn't file off the acrylic spurs or the sharp edges! she also didn't let the gel cure long enough because they were sticky! i immediately turned around and walked back in and i explained that i never complain, but this was ridiculous could they please fix them. she patched up the holes and added another coat of gel. that's it. and sent me on my way. by this time i was so p*ssed that i didn't even bother to complain again. she painted over fuzzies that were stuck to the gel!!! the bottom of the nail that was supposed to be filled was now just a square mound! she didn't even put any acrylic in the hole! i left, went to another shop and had them fix it. i just called now and tried to explain my situation, and the man on the phone immediately became defensive and yelled at me "you come back and we fix your nail" to which i responded "why would i come back a third time when you didn't do it right the first OR the second time. i want my money back" to which he replied "fine, you come back, we cut off you nails and then we give you money" what the hell!!!!! you want to cut off MY nails that YOU messed up before you refund me MY money!!!!!! rest assured, ill make sure nobody i talk to ever goes to this shop again!!!!!!! i don't recall the last time i have received such a horrible manicure and i sure as h*ll don't remember any time when a manager had the balls to YELL at me for expecting what i paid good money for!!!!
