National Meter & Automation Inc

Bought a new house, shortly after received a notice for an automated water meter upgrade. Needed to schedule an appointment, have clear access to the water meter, etc etc. We did not have clear access AT ALL, since we were still in the process of unpacking and settling in. An employee, and we never did get his name, came to the door one week asking "if we'd made an appointment yet" but never stating what the appointment was for or telling us who he worked for. I finally figured out what he was talking about by seeing the company logo on his truck. I told him we were trying to clear the basement of all the boxes from our recent move, and I would make an appointment when we could get that done. The next week or so when my husband and I had gone out one night, we came home to the babysitter saying a water meter guy had been there. He told her he HAD to do the meter that night, he NEEDED to come in to do it NOW, and being nice she let him in. We NEVER gave him permission to be in our house, let alone without one of us there, on top of our children being there alone with a sitter. We also had yet to make an appointment, so he was totally unannounced, VERY unprofessional, and we still don't know his name.
