Excellent, knowledgeable service!

I'm going to try and be sweet and to the point about the disaster I had shipping with this store. I'm a local artist here in Emerald Isle. I shipped this 30" x 50" metal print from the store in Cape Carteret. Luckily I put extra insurance on the package. The item was shipped to the receiver and when it arrived (see second photo) the box looked like it had been put through some type of machine and tore the edge all the way up. The end result (first photo) is how it looked when he opened it. My nightmare started when I made the claim with store and the manager called me yelling, a week later telling me it had been closed b/c they hadn't received photos of the damaged product. I sent her photos of the damaged product to file the initial claim. Now UPS is still processing the claim b/c they haven't gotten e-mails with the photos. When both the receiver and I have sent them multiple times. They seemed to upload in this review pretty easy. The manager of the store also wouldn't give me a phone number to fix the issue myself because she couldn't seem to do her job! I know this store doesn't handle the packages, but the way they handle their selves when there is an issue is unacceptable. I'm still waiting to hear back to see if I will even get my money back to replace the art. Don't waste your time here!!!

Dear UPS Store of Cedar Point, NC;

Thank you for the pizza you supplied to the employee who closed up shop an hour early and turned away 4 customers due to "having a slow day."

It was only because of that pizza that he had the energy to walk up to the door and tell us you were cosed while taking polite pauses to cover his mouth and swallow.

The people are friendly and helpful. It's not often that you find the kind of service presented here any more. The employees of this store make everything easy to the point of being the next best thing to family.
