Overall

With hundreds of restaurants to choose from, why did I have to choose this one! This is probably the worst dining experience I've ever had. From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted warmly by a 12 year old girl. We seated ourselves, were brought cups over and then told to get our own drinks. We decided what we wanted and then proceeded to wait 20 minutes for the waitress who was being extremely snoody to her friend waitress, the cooking staff, and many of the other customers. She finally came to take our order and made it a real chore. My wife's appetizer came out around 20 minutes later and she said it was ok at best. My appetizer came out burnt right before my entree. The food was sat down in front of me and I told the waitress I did not order Pho, I order egg noodles. She looked puzzled and apparently I had threw her a curve she couldn't handle. Finally, I asked her to return it and to just replace the noodles with egg noodles. She marched to the cooks and and a loud whiny voice complained how I had not told her I wanted that. Meanwhile, my wife had noticed that they brought her chicken with her lo mein dish when she had not ordered that either. The waitress had even came back to the table to confirm this with us early on. Next, the waitress comes over to me with a new bowl, this time it wasn't even a soup. It was a dry dish with no noodles of any kind. She showed it to me and looked, as if to guess, and asked "Is this ok, in a snoody and obnoxious manner". I told her no, that what she brought the first time was what I wanted I just didn't want pho noodles I wanted egg noodles. Again, she looked as if she didn't understand the difference. I'm thinking, you were in a Pho restaraunt, and seafood noodle soup w/egg noodles is very popular in most Vietnamese cuisine houses so you should know. Instead of saying that, I was polite and explained it but as she went to the cooks and started arguing with them, my wife and I decided that was it, we could not trust anything else after this. I had to interrupt the argument between the waitress and the cooking staff in order to tell them this just wasn't working out and we'll just pay for the appetizer's and tea and leave. The 13-14 year old attitude finally marched over to the register and proceeded to charge me $19 dollars for all the stuff we had ordered. She ran the card before I could tell her wait, you can't charge us for the entree's we did not get? Well, it was too late she had ran the card but then claimed to void it. Again, this made her angry and she provided another snoody look as if we'd ruined her day or something. She fiddled with the credit card machine awhile until she finally figured out how to use it. Supposedly she voided the $19.00 and then charged me $4.00. We were actually smiling and being very nice to her but by this time she did look like she was ready to cry. We just smiled and I told her to have a nice day and I guess it's better luck next time for us. We went right across the street to the Pho Nam restaurant and ordered what we wanted and got in and out in about 15 minutes with no hassles. I am still in disbelief as to how any owner of any business expects to stay open with this sort of unprofessional-ism, poor attitude, and awful customer service going on. We had eaten at this place many times int the past, and while the service was always poor, the young waitresses we normally got were much nicer and apologized when they made mistakes rather than blaming the customer. I understand it's only $19.00 but when I go out to eat and pay for any meal, I don't expect to be treated like this and certainly don't expect to be so uncomfortable because the waitress can't do her job nor get along with her co-workers or the customers. This was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. I suspect it'll be a tough road for Rosie's Pho Asian Noodle place if they expect to stay open and/or ever turn a profit.
