Service

This business pretends.to be the Overstock on line. All the stores are in that Martinsville area use the same tactics. They show you one thing In the books and.catalogs and then you get something different when it arrives. They give you the small white receipt, and then later they give you, a sheet of paper with all these none refunds. It would be great people involved with the Catonsville store to do a class.action suit on them. They come hete from other countries and take our money M. Battle

Terrible customer service. I paid for as-is furniture they no longer have and was unable to get my money back. They request I pay more money for the same items or get store credit. When it's their fault they sold my furniture

Horrible customer service! I had furniture delivered 5 weeks after ordering, and sofa was messed up. I was told they'd ordered a new one , and it would be about 2 weeks. Also that they'd check it at the store first, not true. When it arrived, I checked, and the same spot is messed up. Called and manager "had just stepped out," which I got this other times as well. He told me today made 5 weeks, I said check your calendar, today is 7 weeks. He said I was calling so many times and that it was harassment!! Lol!!! Seriously!!!! I wasabi ghosh because I called 3 weeks after ordering because I'd be out if town, then at 4 weeks I called because I was going away that weekend, and of course the furniture was there. I told the manager today that I'm irate that they would have tried to fix the sofa, he said no it was a new one. His plan... When it comes back he's going to look at it. If HE thinks its messed up, he'll fix, if not, he'll take pic and send to manufacturer. If they say that's normal, then not only do they sell pour quality, but now I will have to go pick up the couch!!!! The owner was rude, aragant, disrespectful! I will wait to see outcome, then will contact BBB

This place is a scam: worst experience ever.

This company has the worst customer service ever and there is no one to complain to as the the manager in store is the highest manager available. There is no corporate office. This store is not affiliated with overstock.com. I ordered a bedroom set, after six weeks the wrong set came in and that was somehow our fault. Our originally salesperson even informed the manager which set we asked to purchase but the manager who keyed in the order said the model number that was written down and given to him by the other sales person is what he keyed in. The do not give refunds on special orders and after 5 hours of going back and forth they stated we could get the set we originally requested if we paid $800 more and waited another 6 weeks because the set was not available and they couldn't guarantee the wood type in the bed would match the other bedroom furniture. I decided to just take the set that same in because I didn't want to wait 3 months total for a bed set and I had already cleared out my old set for this one. They gave us a new delivery date which they charged us for again, and the set came missing the mirror. They told us they left it and would bring it back in two days as they were on a tight delivery schedule. They gave us a window of delivery that was 12-1. At 1:10 we called the store to see why they had not come only to be told that the person who handles deliveries was not in and to call back in an hour. So I asked is it common for your deliveries to be late and not call u nor the customer to inform them. The associate stayed yes, they don't always call sometimes they just show up. I am currently on my way back to the store to see what's going on.

It's the worst place to purcha...

It's the worst place to purchase your furniture. We ordered a bed from one of the store's catalog. Before we placed an order, we had asked several times a salesperson who had manager duty in the store if the platform bed on the picture in the catalog had a solid wood platform where a mattress goes. That salesperson (manager) was talking like birds of paradise. He assured us that this bed which we were looking at had everything that we were asking for, so we placed an order for this bed. When they came to deliver, it was totally different structure bed. Instead of solid wood platform, it was cheap wooden slats. We didn't accept the delivery. When we called to the store and explained the problem, the same Palestinian guy, who is the manager of the store and who sold this bed to us, tried to persuade us to keep this bed. When I refused of this service, he told me that I don't speak and understand English well. He added that, I would have to pick up this bed from a warehouse in the case I don't accepted it and that I can forget about refund. I have been living in this country for 12 years, and I had never interacted with such services.

They are not "Overstocked" the...

They are not "Overstocked" they are "UnderStocked"... That is true.. Their customer service is the worst and horrible. They even don't respond to your calls and they will give reck less answers. One more thing they won't ready to give store manager # or name to you. They are not eligible for singe start also.



Recently we bought a 2 bedroom set and a sofa set from this store. We have paid all amount thru their finance. They said they are going to deliver the furniture by 2 days and their warehouse department is going to confirm about delivery. But, we never received any call from them on the 2 & 3rd day. When we are trying to contact them they are saying that they are not received the shipment and we are not sure when they are going to deliver them. They didn't tell us while booking the order that they don't have that inventory available. After a long discussion with the store person (i don't know whether he is a manager or store keeper or a sales man at the desk) he gave a delivery date after 3 weeks but not confirming that he is going to deliver the stock on that day.



We have waited for 3 weeks and before the schedule delivery date we have contacted them about the status. They said it is on schedule and you're going to recieve the goods on scheduled day. But, again the story repeated. We have waited on that day about the delivery but nothing happed. Again we have contacted them then they are saying the same story we have not received the shipment.



If we ask anything then they will say that it is not our company policy. They are cookeed up with a lot of stuipd policies. No body can question them. We were frustated with this shopping. I am not going to do any more shopping from this store.



My honnest request to everybody is don't buy any furniture from them. If you like any item, please be sure that item is avialbe before paying the amount. Also, a month is over still we are waiting for the furniture.



NOTE: THEY DON'T RETURN YOUR MONEY FOR ANY SAKE.. SO BE CAREFUL ABOUT THIS SHOP.

We place order on sofa set (so...

We place order on sofa set (sofa loveseat and chair) and three coffee tables on 4/16/11. They said that it is special order so you can not cancel it, which was ok; they also promised that it will deliver in 4 – 6 weeks. We had given them 4000 in deposit. On 5/9/11 store called and said sofa loveseat and coffee tables were here, we need to pay they more money so they can deliver the items that had arrived, we went to store and asked them when chair would arrive, he said that it might be here within two to three weeks. But they could not give anything in writing. So we said we will take delivery of all furniture at one time. On 5/10/11 store said that chair will arrive on or before 6/6/11. On 6/6/11 we called the store our fear became reality. They told us they do not know when chair will arrive and advised us that we should take the furniture that has arrived and store will give us credit for char. Our problem was that I did not want to pay close to 5000 for incomplete furniture set. They told me that they will never refund my money and I will have to take delivery half of sofa set that I order. At this I am not sure how to resolve this issue. Please stay away from this furniture store. I am very unhappy with this deal.
