Dun-Rite Drywall

I bought a home in Fern Park that needed some drywall work done. Not being from the area, I did not know what company to call. Another business in the area recommended Dun-Rite Derwall. Mark,the owner, quoted me a very fair price and had his crew on the job the very next day. The crew of three workmen did a fantastic job to match the ceiling and wall texture with the old drywall. The crew worked fast, and best of all, there was no dust at all! Great crew, great job, great company. Paul White Sarasota

This review is for work that Mark performed at my 3958 Carnaby Drive property. Mark left a noticeable seam in the dryway repair in my upstairs guest bedroom and never came back to fix it. He kept promising he would come back but never did. Also his men somehow broke my toilet seat in the bathroom. It appears the man stood on the toilet seat to do his work. When I brought this to Mark's attention he insinuated that it was like that before he came to my house. He checked with his man and he confirmed that he broke it. Mark gave me a $13.00 credit for the toilet seat which I than had to go purchase myself and install. Mark did two other rooms in my house where his team had pulled down electrical fixtures that were never return to original position. This has got to be the sloppiest and most unprofessional contractor I've ever worked with in my life. I'm 52 and have rental property and have had work done by numerous numerous contractors in the last 30 years, of which I have never made a complaint.

It started well. Mark seemed a very reasonable man. At the end of the day, even though I sent my final payment to Mark within 10 days of Mark coming to repair defective work, Mark had his very capable lawyer put a lien on my property. Now Mark will not remove the $6,500 lien, even though I've paid him, until I pay him any additional $210.00 for a door that he installed that wasn't even in our Contract. I didn't want the door. Besides that the door doesn't meet code. He removed my exterior door that met code and installed a door that didn't meet code and now he is forcing me to pay for his incompetence. So good luck with this one guys. Stay tuned, his lawyer will likely be suing me for telling you this.

This is a true professional and craftsman. Mark the owner came out when he said, estimated the job, gave a fair price, did the work, cleaned up, and it looks great! I would definitely call again.

We moved in to a new home that needed some work done and were on a very tight budget. We called 8 different companies and DunRite gave the best quote, and in all, did the best work we have had done. We are currently saving up funds to have them come back and do more work because we know it will be done right, at a good price and with someone we trust and recommend as often as the opportunity allows
