The City of Casper Fire-EMS Department is a full-service public safety agency that works to protect lives and property through public education, fire prevention, rescue and medical emergency services. It is comprised of more than 70 members who are trained as emergency medical technicians. The department responds to hazardous material incidents, high-angle and water rescue operations, fire-related building inspections, traffic accidents, and medical and weather emergencies. The City of Casper Fire-EMS Department also handles evacuations and emergency management situations. It additionally conducts public safety training programs, including first-aid and fire safety classes for children and adults. The department is located in Casper, Wyo.
