Staff was friendly and helpful. Dresses were clean and well organized by size making it easy to find what I was looking for. I found a beautiful dress but needed to have it altered. They also were able to give me a referral to a great alteration place as well.

HORRIBLE! I called Gorgeous Gowns and asked them if they had any dresses in stock that were size 0. The lady on the phone confidentally said "Yes!" I then asked her about how many she thought they had and she said "about 8-10." I was soo happy that a bridal shop had so many size 0s because they are very uncommon. Little did I know, this trip would be a HUGE waste of my time and a HUGE waste of gas for me. I drove from Garner to Cary and when I got to the store I looked around for the size 0s but the smallest size I could find were 2s. After a few minutes of searching, a lady came out from the back of the store and I asked her where the size 0s were. She said they were up infront of the 2s. I said I already looked there. Turns out they had NOT A SINGLE SIZE 0 IN THE ENTIRE STORE. I even told the lady that I called not even an hour earlier and was told there were 8-10 size 0s here. All she could say was, "Oh, I'm sorry." I was sooo mad with this store and it's employees. Beware, if you call this store before visiting, they'll obviously lie and tell you anything you want to hear just to get you in their store. STAY AWAY!

At first Gorgeous Gowns seems like a great place to go to find the perfect dress. I bought a debutante dress at Gorgeous Gowns that I really loved. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful before I bought the dress. After I purchased the dress, they were no longer overly friendly. I had to have the train taken off since it's a debutante gown. The owner highly recommended the seamstress at the store. We used the seamstress and had an awful experience. If you buy a dress from here, do NOT use the seamstress at the store. She took way too long to take the train off. Whenever we called her house someone would hang up the phone! I honestly was afraid we would never get the dress back!! We contacted Gorgeous Gowns to find out how to get up with the seamstress. We told them about our problems and the girl at Gorgeous Gowns said that she was "just the alterations lady and wasn't affiliated with the store." Finally we picked the dress up last week. She had it since February! The back of the dress was two inches shorter than the front. It was quite noticeable. The hem wasn't even finished. The seamstress said if it wasn't quite right it wouldn't matter because "no one would notice it." I don't think this is something you tell to a customer who bought a $400 dress. Also, we had talked to the owner of Gorgeous Gowns about ordering gloves for the debutante ball. I wrote down all of my information in a book including the color and length of the gloves I needed. When I went to pick the dress up, we were told the ordered gloves had come in. When we asked about the gloves at the store, the seamstress picked up some in the back that someone had brought in. She said they were the only ones they had and they might be out of the ordered gloves. The seamstress wrote down my name again and said the owner would contact me about ordering gloves. She has yet to contact me and I don't believe she will. Gorgeous Gowns only cares about selling dresses then they're finished with you. This shop has poor customer service, avoid it if you can. Please do not use the seamstress or you will regret it, like I do. My dress was almost ruined and now it's at a professional tailor shop. If you want your wedding dress to look right, do not use the alterations lady. At first she seems wonderful,until you buy the dress. I ended up paying $50 to a woman who did not know what she was doing. I hope to save future brides/debutantes from the mistake I made.
