I went to them when the place first changed ownership to Shawn in 2011 and they were great and honest. I was a repeat customer for years and while they were a bit overpriced, they did good solid work and I trusted them.

Sept of '15 I went in for repairs on my jeep...nothing major but quite a few little issues including a coolant leak and a barely slipping tranny...and they kept the jeep for the better part of a month. The estimate was NAPA parts but all of the prices were a huge markup from the prices you can find online direct from NAPA. No communication about when it would be done unless I called, and then it was always a short, rude exchange from Shawn himself. Now keep in mind...they DID tell me they were bogged down with work. MY response: this is the only vehicle I've got running right now, so the sooner the better but you guys are awesome and the extra wait is worth it. At least that's what I thought at the time.

I found plenty of problems when I finally got the jeep back. Oil sending unit was replaced twice(according to them the 1st replacement part they installed was bad) thus the delay. Well they must not have tested the 2nd part (if they really installed a 2nd part) because it still doesn't work properly oddly enough. Had a tranny fluid flush and refill to help the slip since they did it a year earlier and it did help(according to them 'I got a trans guy in another shop if this flush doesnt help it'). So then (of course) it starts leaking tranny fluid weeks later (never ever leaked tranny fluid before) and guess what...all of the bolts on the transfer case were loose...not VERY loose....but loose enough to leak...and they did, ALL of them...including the fill plug. So Imagine that for a minute. How exactly does that happen?

An interior light was also coming on intermittently when opening the door but not going off sometimes...I pulled the buld but it was something I mentioned. It was supposed to be disconnected by them and Shawn personally assured me that it was...hmm well it still comes on and stay on when i put the bulb back in. Radiator replacement (it wasn't leaking coolant from the radiator area but whatever) and go figure it still dumps coolant periodically and now it reads low coolant regardless of level...that didn't happen before. Shawn let me know that you have to replace the whooole tank to replace that sensor. Yeah what a shock. Also when I picked it up...it has only half full of coolant. 'Sometimes it burps'. Yeah if you don't do it right.

I'm not even going to bother taking it back in for another oil sending unit (let me take a wild guess that they have the REAL '2nd' sending unit part sitting in there right now waiting for me to bring the jeep back in)...I'm afraid of what bolts will be loosened on my jeep when I get it back so I'll pass and do the repair myself soon.

If one of you guys reads this...and I hope you do...I really don't know what's going on in your shop now but good luck guys, you're killing your own business doing this stuff to people who were loyal to you. You had a great, great shop and did great work years back. Maybe you should go back to that because Central Ohio has a lot of mechanics around to choose from.
