        Tap beer is excellent and over...

        Tap beer is excellent and overall the place tries to be a good bar. The beer garden needs its own taps and tender, too long a wait if you sit there. Now the food. It is good, it is just not authentic Irish food. The Shephard's pie is not real Irish style, just meat and what seems like boxed potatoes plus (gasp) melted cheese on top which says microwave. I brought my friend and we enjoyed but we quietly laughed at the amateur attempt to be an Irish pub. His mother is from Mayo and my grandparents are from Galway, so we are two NY Irish narrowbacks for sure, but we know that this place is a great place to visit, but it is not a real Irish pub.
