Amy Duckworth, DPM

Dr. Duckworth is a podiatrist (works on feet). She is such a good doctor. Had some pain in my toes and she was able to inject them and the pain was gone.

Dr. Duckworth was so nice. Very friendly. Great bedside manor. When I saw her she was working with Summit Orthopedic, however, she no longer works there now.

Allowing this woman to perform her "experimental" surgery on my son in 2010 is the worst, most regrettable mistake of my life. For the severe pain that followed, she prescribed over 1,300 narcotic pills in 90 days--prescriptions investigated by the California Medical Board and found negligent by the Board of Podiatric Medicine. Using bone grafts from his hip and state-of-the-art bone growth stimulants, surgeons at both Stanford and UC Davis were unable to accomplish the fusion Duckworth said he he still could "undergo anyways" if her joint removal and replacement with off-label usage of an equine bioimplant failed. Five years and five painful surgeries later, at age 24, his foot remains permanently damaged, he remains in chronic pain and narcotic pain management--and continues in psychiatric care. Duckworth has not been employed at Summit Orthopedics since November of 2012. (I'd like to think I had something to do with that.) So the review below is obviously bogus.
