Gala's Style Alteration

I took a dress in (simple and sundress style) to be shortened by an inch on the back, only. The owner was misunderstanding everything I was saying and chalk marked in the wrong measurements and I asked for the dress back to take home and she told me I owed her $10 to have my dress back because of the "work" she had done....I explained over and over what I wanted and was very polite, professional and clear and she still charged me $10. I said you have done no work- my dress hadn't event left the lobby and she marked four spots on my dress with chalk which took one minute, maximum. Customer service was terrible as was the communication. I would not go back... And I am not one to complain. I am a very easy to please person. What a terrible business.
