Carlisle Crossroads

I truly was not prepared for both the quality and amount of food served at Carlisle Crossroads. The lobster ravioli was the first I'd ever sampled...and there is no need to look any further for a better entree! The saffron rissoto was done perfectly, too. The flan trio for dessert (which I did not need) I admit I couldn't resist. However, there was truly no room for a cappuchino...I'll save that for after my next dinner!



Thank you for bringing such epicurian delights to downtown Carlisle!

On Friday, August 1st, 2008, I was preparing myself for a performance at Courthouse Common coffee shop and decided to chec out some local diners. I stopped in to get a salad, as I didn't think I wanted anything too heavy before performing a 2 hour concert. Upon looking at the menu, my attention was drawn to the shrimp stir fry. That is what I ordered. Mere words cannot describe the taste. I can only say that I would have been a fool to just get a salad. I plan to return soon to try other meals.

We ate at this new restaurant over the weekend and were so impressed! The food was amazing and the portions were very generous! My husband had the Veal Oscar and I had the Land and Sea Lobster Chops. The server was extremely polite and very helpful. The decor was comforting and elegant. I would highly recommend Carlisle Crossroads as a "date night" or family gathering place. It is a BYOB, which is nice for Downtown Carlisle. I can't wait to go back and try all of the other tasty menu items!
