Jon Zitomer comes with my highest recommendation. He was recommended to me by a trusted family friend, and exceeded my expectations.



He guided me through difficult concepts during my legal matter, and made sure I understood what was happening. He always knew the best course of action to take, and I appreciated him thinking of issues from all sides so that nothing snuck up on me. He made what could have been a very difficult experience for me as easy and pain-free as possible.



Also exceeding my expectations is his office manager. She is friendly, helpful, and also highly competent. She would often call me to ensure I had the proper documents at the right time, and if I had forgotten to respond to an issue, she would (very kindly) remind me via phone or email, to make sure nothing fell through the cracks.



An important consideration for me was how fast response time was when I had a question, and how thoroughly my my concerns were addressed. Again, Jon did not disappoint. As a chronic worrier, I had quite a few "what-if" scenarios, and when I emailed him with my concerns, Jon was prompt and thorough in his responses. Not all attorneys are willing to email with their clients - Jon is different. I felt confident that, at all times, he was thinking of my case and making sure all issues were dealt with correctly.



Jon goes above any beyond. In addition to the things I pointed out above, another occasion stands out to me. Jon had noticed something in one of my legal documents that was completely immaterial to the issue I had enlisted his services for, but he gave me some extra legal advice anyway. He took the time to write down a full page of advice on this unrelated issue while we were waiting for court - an issue that could have cost me a lot of money had I not noticed it (and I would never have seen it on my own).
