        American Jiann Shyong Kung Fu Center offers classes in traditional Kungfu, including Tai Chi, Northern Shaolin, Praying Mantis, Hsing-I, Pa Kua, and Weapons. Classes are taught strictly by the two Grandmasters who have impressive careers and lineages. Their system of instruction is traditional, emphasizing the basics of strengthening and flexibility, with refinement of movement and intention through forms. The focus is on health and strength - it's never too late to start! I highly recommend stopping by the gym in East Cambridge to meet the Masters, have some tea, and experience the flavor of the school!

        Excellent, traditional martial arts instruction. Two skilled grandmasters (husband and wife team), with impressive lineages, teach all classes! Many students have been their for a decade or more - a testament to the breadth of skill, knowledge, and teaching. It is traditionally taught - a program based on strength-building, flexibility, and dedication to the art, with results evident over time. The focus is health and strength. I definitely recommend visiting the gym and watching a class to get a flavor of the school - everyone is welcome.

        Excellent traditonal Chinese martial arts. I have studied all over the world and the two Masters bring a wonderful complement of teaching styles that help students grow at a steady pace. Natural approach that balances warm up exercises and stretches with form instruction to ensure that students become strong and healthy!
