This Company is a Kirby Vacuum Cleaner Distributor. Its social presence in the community is a shabby building in the Calumet City Area. The customer service is horrible; the finance rate is high 25% and above focusing on the innocent consumer.



Ddc uses deceptive advertising practices, with a high employee turnover rate. The Corporate Company of Kirby who sole DDC there franchise should revoke the franchise license because they are ruining their reputation. In addition, the sole reason they say on the phone is to come to your home to get your opinion while cleaning your carpet. No it is to get you to buy a vacuum cleaner that cost over $2000.00. They even take the vacuum cleaner boxes with them explaining “they recycle the boxes.”



In addition the management is rude belligerent! Midway through the carpet cleaning she sent another person to my home who said he was a manager in training. He was sent to watch the ladies demonstrating to make sure they were doing their job correctly. I was insulted and asked him not to stay; he replied his manager said he could not leave. I asked him to call his manager. She sought to reprimand me for not allowing him to stay. The last time I checked “This was my house!” and they don't give you a new vacuum cleaner but the demo used in your home. That same demo is used in each home they visit and it the customer does not buy it, they simply go to the next demo and when someone does buy it the sales representatives are instructed to give them the demo machine telling the customer that the machine is new.



I am disappointed, I will never buy anything from them again and I will tell all I can they are deceptive. The young ladies who eventually sold me the machine are great; however, this incident should have given me pause to the practices of Ddc franchise. Unfortunately I bought this machine finding out later an additional paper separate from the contract citing a 3 day return rule.
