Ferguson Animal Hospital

I love taking my fur babies to Fergusons! The only problem I have with them is they are out of the office alot working on farm calls. I had one of my dogs that had a cough and I kept taking him to Frieda's and they kept telling me he had pneumonia and to go to Walmart and get cough syrup to feed to him. The visits would last maybe 5 minutes after waiting 20 in the lobby. I finally got him in to fergusons and they immediately gave him x-rays and a heart worm test and low and behold he had heart worms not pneumonia. They know what they are doing even with the smallest bit of info.

I recently moved to the area. My Corgi was having delivery complications and was in need of emergency services. I called the after hours emergency number and left a message. My call was NEVER returned. I had c-section done elsewhere but still needed a vet to dock tails on the puppies that survived. I was asked to wait in the lobby. Dr. Ferguson (I think it was him- he never introduced himself), came out to the lobby and asked me how I wanted the tails docked. I showed him the mother's tail and I had him feel it so he would understand what I was requesting. After, he explained that he did dock the tails but they had one vertebrae left so you would see a little stub... "but the tail is gone." That is not what I requested. Now my show quality puppy has his tail docked wrong! He should have explained to me before he did it his way, that he would not do it the way I requested so I could take them somewhere else that would do it right. I will not go back and I won't recommend him to anyone.
