Lindo Mexico

This is GREAT authentic mexican food made from the soul.....family owned with warm service:). You can't get much better than that!!!

I am originally from Burlington, so when I come to visit, I like to eat at the local places. I have eaten here several times with my family and I enjoy the food most of the time.



The service has always been bad. They only take cash, they only serve soda in bottles or cans, the initial chips and salsa servings are very small. It takes a long time for them to not only cook your order, but it also takes a long time for them to return to your table for refills of salsa or drinks.



I went there tonight with my son. We got there at 5:35pm to eat and were meeting others for a movie at 6:50pm. We picked a booth and since we didn't need a menu, we order as soon as they came at 5:40pm. We each got a drink as well as chips and salsa. We sat there till 6:27pm and not one server ever came back to check on us. No communication whatsoever.



I walked to the pay station to tell the waitress that we had to leave to make our appointment and that I would pay for the drinks and if the food was close to being done, I would take it to go. I was a little annoyed, but remained calm and told her we had to go.



The waitress got the female owner, and as I tried to explain to her our situation and why we had to go, she just exploded and told me to "get out right now and don't you ever come back!'



I get people have a bad day, but this was ridiculous. I tried to calmly explain that I would pay for whatever, but I had to go. She refused to hear it and told me to get out immediately. She was so irrational that I didn't want to leave w/o paying anything, so I left $10 on our table for the 2 sodas and left. I will never go back!!

Amazing family owned restaurant with fresh made food to order! Best mexican around!
