The Salon

The salon is very nice and is not expensive, but to be honest I rather pay more for a better cut. I brought in a picture of what I wanted and pointed out exactly what I saw in the picture that I wanted to see in my hair. I had Alissia (I'm not sure I spelt that right) cut my hair. I wanted layers to the shoulder, I got them to my ears. They were very chopping looking layers which was not what I showed her in the picture. I wanted bangs that brush my eyebrows, they sit well above them and are very crooked. She kept having to fix them over and over because she couldn't get them straight. She was using a razor instead of scissors to cut them and kept apologizing for the razor being dull! If it's dull, why is she using it. One side has the taper I wanted and the other side is so boxy. Since my haircut I have worn my bangs pulled back, at least the best I can with how short she cut them. I look at my hair and just want to cry. My sister had her haircut too. With all the professional styling her hair is not bushy where it's usually very smooth and silky. She specifically said she wanted to be able to pull her hair back but now she can't. Aleshia was very polite, though she did have a friend come in and sit and talk with her. Her friend was annoying and I found this very unprofessional. I heard good things from other stylist like Megan but if you go to The Salon, chose wisely.
