Walgreens

Very disappointed with pharmacy service at this Walgreens. I dropped off 2 prescriptions and was told that within 20-30 minutes my prescriptions would be filled and ready to pick up. I returned 45 min or an hour later and they still weren't ready. Not that big of a deal- they said 10-15 min more so I waited in my car for 15 more min and went in the drive-thru to find out they STILL weren't ready and they weren't sure if my dr had specified cream or ointment on one of my meds so they needed to call her. She said to park my car in view of the window and she'd flag me over when they were ready. 10-15 min later, she flags me over. At this point I've been waiting for almost 2 hours for my 2 prescriptions and she tells me that they've changed my daily medicine I take for ADD, a medicine that I need badly (and that took my dr and I a long time to find a drug and strength that work for me). I asked to speak to the pharmacist and She explained to me that the manufacturer recommends no more than 40mg/day- which is not true because I looked on their website myself and while it's the strongest mg they make they say nothing about any dose recommendations except for when introducing the drug to a patient. I'm very disappointed and angry that a pharmacist would assume she knows more than the doctor who spent years with me, getting my dosage right as we discovered that while it works best to control my symptoms, my body metabolizes the drug quickly. I guess because it's a controlled substance the pharmacist assumes I abuse it or sell it, instead of actually needing it like I do. If you keep treating your customers like this you won't keep any around to treat. I would recommend not to go here. Very irritated and angry for the inconvenience and way I was treated at this Walgreens. I won't be back.
