Mr Scott Smith is the poster for children's best interest during representation. He really does put his mind in the place it needs to be to assess any situation he is involved in. Scott Smith pays out of his own pocket for computers to be refurbished and he donates them to children who have nothing to be equally equipped as other kids whose parents could afford them. Scott Smith runs his business appropriately and his wife who is also employed by Mr Smith also provides a great helping hand to his practice and the service He provide to his clients.

buyer beware!!! This man is a crook!! He was assigned guardian in my custody case and spoke with me one for 20 minutes then refused contact after that and testified in court saying a bunch of lies. Accepts payoffs without a doubt.

Mr. Smith is the farthest thing from a crook. He is a very caring and generous man and he is always willing to help people no matter what. He does pro-bono work more than any other attorney I know. I have never heard his wife talk for him and Melissa is out of this world, very polite and knowledgeable. I would recommend Scott Smith to anyone who is seeking a fair and caring attorney who is in my opinion underpaid for the amount of work he puts into a case. If your case does not get an outcome that you expect Mr. Smith will bend over backwards to try to help rectify that situation. I know that he would never nor anyone in his office EVER promise anything, if anything I have been told many times they can not promise and have heard them say it to others. Maybe you should not put up money for others with out getting a signed "PROMISE" if that is what you claim. I know for that amount of money I would want to see it in writing. I am sure your so called promise never existed. Finally, I think that Ms. Smith is a very caring individual who will try to help anyone in need as well and Mr. Smith does not need anyone to talk for him he is very intelligent on his own. You sound bitter and that is sad but do not blame it on representation. Mr. Smith is awesome and I would recommend him to anybody out there.

This is what happened to me when I called Scott Smith's office to see what he could do to help our friend in jail. First off, his wife speaks for him and lied to me and my family about what he would do for our friend Cisco. They took 5k in cash at my home without giving a receipt and without delivering a signed notarized contract between the client, Cisco, attorney Scott Timothy Smith, and myself for collateral as promised for the 5k. Did not do depositions nor discovery on his own, he used the states public defender files and told him he should sign a 5 year prison term and 10 year probation as offered by the state. ALL after saying the worst case scenario would be probation, best case found not guilty, all to be done at a trial. BEWARE and be very careful when hiring an attorney, don't talk to a wife or secretary , make an appointment and get there to speak to the actual person doing the job. Scott Smith told the client Cisco that he has no idea why his wife said the things she did and that his fee was only 5k not 7500 she was charging. I have filed a complaint with the Florida bar association and the Board of Ethics to see if they can refund my money for not doing as promised and getting me a correct receipt and contract for collateral by Mrs Christine Smith his secretary and assistant. This is outrageous and in my opinion thievery, not to mention taking advantage of a handicapped person .

Mr. Smith helped my husband and I through a very difficult relocation situation with my husband's children. He was a great listener and really took the time to explain what we needed to know in order to make the best decision for the children. Very professional and knowledgeable.
