Wilson LaFaurie singlehandedly saved my friend's life.
Falsely accused and imprisoned for 9 months in a domestic violence case backed up by pictures and medical evidence, Wilson believed in his case and dedicated his time, energy, and effort to at least getting my friend off with a misdemeanor and time served rather than 4 felonies with 7 years. The price of a great lawyer is worth every penny when your loved one gets their life back. With Wilson, there was always a high level of confidence and always walked us through the process. Wilson not only got my friend out of jail and out of a 7 year sentence but he got EVERY SINGLE COUNT ACQUITTED. Without Wilson LaFaurie, my friend would still be in prison for 7 years. In a case where there was no hope, he did what was nearly impossible and brought true justice. The jury believed in my friend's story so much that they waited outside of the courthouse to speak with and hug my friend. Wilson shined a light on the truth.

I called several lawyers and phone interviewed them prior to hiring. When I called Wilson LaFaurie he was seemed extremely knowledgable. Talking to him was very comforting - like everything will be okay, and he will work his hardest to fight my case. However, I paid Wilson LaFaurie a large sum of money and in the end his work was not worth a single penny. He was very hard to contact, he never answered the phone or returned calls. In order to reach him I would have to send a text and he would only respond back via text. This was very inconvenient because I could never get all of my questions answered and was left in the dark about my case.



One day I showed up to court on the date listed on my paper and the judge yelled at me saying that I was suppose to be submitting paperwork that day. Paperwork that my lawyer never told me about; I was completely unaware of this. The court clerk then said, "I hope you didn't pay a lawyer for your case, he's suppose to be submitting the paperwork not you." I then called my lawyer…no answer. So, I texted him and his response was completely in CAPS with exclamation marks saying. "THIS IS NOT MY JOB, YOU OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T DO YOUR PART!" -Well excuse me, because I had done everything I was ordered to do from both my lawyer and the court.



He is not on top of work, when something goes wrong in your case he will blame you. He didn't get my charges lowered at all. He didn't show up to all my court cases - he would send fill in lawyers who knew nothing about my case. When I got my final judgement from the court I tried to reach him with further questions and he always responded with, "Can't help you with that, sorry."



Seriously, don't waste your money on him. He seems like an amazing lawyer at first. If I had to do it all over again I would probably still pick him out of the other 10 other lawyers I interviewed. He seems very knowledgable and will act like he really cares about you. However, it is an act. You are much better going with your court appointed lawyer than him any day. Hiring him was my biggest mistake.

Mr. Lafaurie had a DUI/DWI charge completely removed from my record, as if it never happened. New York makes this particularly hard to do even if you were not at fault. You will not find better representation, though others may try to charge you considerably more.

I was facing felony charges and Wilson did a amazing job on my case I was very very pleased with the outcome I would defenitly recommend Wilson to anyone he is a great lawyer and a good friend !!thanks for everything Wilson it is highly appreciated on My behalf ..

I was looking at a reckless driving violation which is considered a misdemeanor in NYS. Mr. LaFaurie responded to my inquiry immediately and brought a calming effect to the entire ordeal. He handled everything and got the charge dismissed on the grounds that the offense didn't fit the charge. He was professional, responsive and extremely knowledgeable in the law. I was lucky to find him.
