        One of the best brunches i've ...

        One of the best brunches i've ever been to in brooklyn...and wayyyy more affordable than 90% of the brunches in the city. went back for dinner and i must say--they get italian food right.

        I am so glad this place is bac...

        I am so glad this place is back in bizzness! Pretty cool to say you've been to the first italian restaurant in ny...not many people can say that. But bottom line, their food is amazing and that's why theyre still around.

        The new Monte's is simply deli...

        The new Monte's is simply delicious. The pizza is thin like they make on the amalfi coast, every night there are mulitple fresh home made pasta's and other treats from the old school wood burning oven. The desserts and especially the cheesecake are all home made and amazing. So happy the new owners have brought this old icon back and in outstanding fashion. All in all a great new addition and some of the most authentic and tasty italian food in Brooklyn.
