I've spent many nights in this Bed&Breakfast and it has always been perfect. Hope I'll get back there soon! Perfect choice!

My stay at the Escape Guest House was one from which to ESCAPE AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
The bedroom contained a filing cabinet, misc personal books and papers on top of the cabinet.
The desk was the same and the one drawer was filled with misc.papers and personal items.
The bed had mis-matched pillow slips, duvet and sheets. Definitely not color coordinated!
No mirror in the room.
There was no water bottle, no glass in the room nor in the bathroom.
A shared bathroom consisted of a small shower and a minute sink which in order to rinse one's mouth or face (from the faucet), one had to balance between a medicine cabinet and the edge of the sink and try not to let the water drip down one's front. Quite tricky, I was not successful!
The medicine cabinet was filled with used tooth paste tube, and various other used articles.
Under the sink, cleaning articles were lined up against the wall.
The shower had a used soap bar, half filled shampoo bottle, half
filled conditioner bottle.
The back garden, as viewed from the bedroom window, was filled with misc. trash and looked as though it had not been swept or cleaned in months. Not what one would call "A Room With A View".
I did not go upstairs for breakfast, my daughter did that and has written her own review.
Avoid this place like the plague.
This guest asked for a 1 night stay but we have a 3 night minimum. She called back and booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. After the first night, she and her daughter claimed our place (which has many 5star reviews on BedandBreakfast.com) was completely unsatisfactory and so they would not stay nor pay for the remainder of their stay. Clearly this was their intent all along. Her review contains several flat-out falsehoods: All our rooms contain mirrors, drinking glasses are available to all guests, and our beautiful garden is maintained daily. There are books for reading but no papers on the cabinet in the Traveler room. She does not mention the 3 empty drawers plus bathroom basket offered for her use, not the closet plus hanging rack. Our "mismatched" linens are color-coordinated, modern sets in which the sheets and pillow cases are one pattern while the shams and duvet covers are of a contrasting, complimentary pattern. We will not offer tiny plastic bottles of shampoos etc to be thrown out daily as this is against our environmental policy. We did offer regular size bottles in our cabinets in case guests forgot to bring their own. We have now installed inshower wall dispensers to eliminate the individual bottles. Given this guest's behavior and her review, perhaps she was expecting a hotel rather than a Bed and Breakfast: rooms in a shared, real home, lovingly decorated, maintained and offered to guests by the hostess.
