Male Infertility
He is a urologist specializing in male and female urinary issues. He has authored many articles in peer reviewed urology and radiology journals. Dr. Grotas has also written book chapters. Dr. Grotas has written on topics such as kidney stones, male infertility and varicoceles, and imaging in urology. Our physician is a board certified Urologist who treats a wide array of urological conditions from minor problems to complex surgery. We provide a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plan for every patient in a manner that is friendly, personal, and compassionate.
Kidney Cancer
Evaluation: We offer medical evaluation for all conditions that pertain to urology. This include problems urinating such as urinating too often, urinating at night, leaking urine, blood in the urine, stones in the urine or bladder, or kidneys. Dr. Grotas treats both men and women. We also treat male sexual dysfunction including premature ejaculation, warts, sexually transmitted diseases, erectile dysfunction, and penile curvature. We screen for bladder, prostate and kidney cancer.
Kidney Stones
Surgery: We offer surgical treatments for a variety of urologic conditions. Circumcision, vasectomy, vasectomy reversal, kidney stone treatments, treatments for weak urinary stream and prostatic obstruction, greenlight laser, correction of bladder leakage or dropped bladder = pelvic prolapse, Da-Vinci robotic radical prostatectomy, laparoscopic nephrectomy, orchiectomy and testicular prosthesis, penile prosthesis insertion, artificial urinary sphincter, interstim neuromodulation of bladder.
Prostate Cancer
SpaceOAR is a gel that is injected into the space between the prostate and the rectum that protects the rectum and surrounding nerves from radiation involved in the treatment of prostate cancer.

Ultrasound
Dr. Grotas performs HD-digital cystoscopy in the office using state of the art equipment. He also has state of the art urodynamic and ultrasound equipment to get immediate answers to patients urologic problems.

Computed Tomography
Many patients have prostate sonograms, CT scans, or MRIs for various indications. Calcifications of the prostate is a common finding? What does this mean? Sometimes calcifications are in blood vessels or the prostate gland itself. This can be a sing of prostate cancer but most commonly it is just from prostate inflammation, infection or BPH or noncancerous growth of the prostate. Only your doctor can check for prostate cancer. A rectal exam and PSA test are important for men (usually over 40) tat are concerned about prostate cancer. “Stones” of the urinary tract can also be in the seminal vesicles – makes and stores sperm’s liquid lubricant (majority of the ejaculate) or the bladder, ureter or kidney.
Radiation Therapy
The hydrogel remains stable during radiation therapy and is gradually absorbed by the body after the completion of radiation therapy.

Vasectomy
Vasectomy is a popular and effective form of permanent birth control for men. In a vasectomy, the vas deferens are sealed off, preventing sperm from reaching the semen that is ejaculated.
