Ms. Stewart, the Center Direct...

Ms. Stewart, the Center Director, needs to go. Since she took on her role as Director, dischord and favoritism has taken over. One of the worst technicians a patient could ever have the misfortune of being treated by is Annette Smith. Annette is protected by Ms. Stewart, as they were childhood friends in their home country. Annette is negligent to patient needs - a patient askes her to lower or raise the treatment outtake and she ignores. A patient cries out in cramps for her and she ignores. She is not careful with the patient's access and has caused infection. She is rude and prone to temper tantrums, kicking chairs and the like. She is insubordinate as she has yelled to the head nurse various times. When brought to Ms. Stewart's attention, her favorite line is she'll "look into it" and nothing happens. Rules and regulations constantly change. There is little respect for the patient and his/her comfort - the chairs are continally being patched up, springs attack, the legrest does not work, the chair won't sit up. The place needs to be painted as it is a drab off color to spend hours looking at. Only a handful of excellent technicians are spread thin as most patients avoid Annette. Annette has no people skills and rudely dismisses patients. She does not remain on the floor but disappears - dangerous when the dialysis machine beeps for a drop in blood pressure, etc. One of the social workers is plainly afraid of Ms. Stewart and this fear prevents her from performing her job, especially with patient complaints made against technicians. Her name is Joyce. Wendy, on the other hand, an equally proficient social worker, is ignored by Ms. Stewart because Wendy speaks the truth. Sadly, things polish up when the doctors are on the floor making their rounds. They do not see or experience what the patients do. I have a lawyer on speed dial as I have decided that I will take legal action against this Center if the abuse and negligence continues and it felt by my relative. I firmly believe that once Ms. Stewart is dismissed from her position and Center, conditions have a better chance of improving.
