Kiddy Haven Child Care Center

I had 2 children attend Kiddy Haven and my children really enjoyed and loved going to school everyday!

I was very lucky to find a great place, because it is very hard to trust others with your children, but i was fortunate to know another parent who also had their children attend Kiddy Haven. They do such great with the kids. Have a wonderful staff that treated us like family! The owner is very nice! The activities for the children are very stimulating. And the School is very clean and has as a at home feeling! Also they have a magnificent playground that my kids loved!!!

I have been with Kiddy Haven Childcare center for a long time, I know the situation the parents are talking about above...they had a child with a mental disability, we also had taken care of their older child, when he was younger until kindergarder. When they approached us to enroll their daughter with at the time, they did not say she had a mental disablity. After working with the child, who is a great, beautiful and wonderful child, we could tell that their was a disability there. We discussed it with the parents, it took them almost 6 months to come to this realization. They did place her in a different school for special needs half day and then the child came to our center the rest of the day. Some days with her were better than others....but she did disrupt the whole group of children, especially during transition times. Which are very hard for a child with special needs, it came to a point that we had tried everything we could possibly do for her, she needed a special school that could address these issues always. As an owner, it was very hard to tell a parent this, and as I see this review, and at the time of her last day, the parents were not happy to have to look for another place to watch their child. The own is not unprofessional, is not mean, and loves children, she goes above and beyond for her parents and for their children. I am very sorry that these parents were hurt, and hurt soo much to write a review like the one they did.

Kiddy Haven Day Nursery discriminates against children with disabilities. The owner of the facility is very unprofessional and mean to the children. I would not not recomend this place to anyone!!
