Dr. Gregory Gang has been in practice since 1983. He graduated from Queens College City University of New York in1977, with honors. Dr. Gang attended both the University of Chicago Graduate School and New York University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, receiving his Master of Sciences degree in 1981 in Biochemistry. Dr. Gang attended New York University College of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1983 with honors. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Omicron Kappa Uppsala Dental Honor Society, and the Orthodox Dental Study Club. He has extensive training and experience in all phases of dentistry but maintains a special interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. This allows him to restore and create an esthetically pleasing design for his patient’s teeth and smile using the latest restorative materials and procedures.

Dentures
Complete dentures are called "conventional" or "immediate" depending on the time they are made and when they are inserted into the mouth.
Overdentures
An overdenture is a removable denture, which fits over a few of the remaining natural teeth or implants. The natural teeth need to be prepared to provide stability and support for the denture. Your dentist can verify if an overdenture would be suitable for you.

Dental Implants
Surgery is performed to place an anchor. Surgery can take several hours, and up to six months can be required for the bone to grow around the anchor to firmly hold it in place. Some implants may require a second surgery in which a post is attached that connects the anchor to the replacement teeth. With other implants, the anchor and post are already attached and are positioned at the same time.
