I was happy to find these plp they were cheap and fast. Took them a day; But they got me what I was looking for. Everyone else was charging two hundred dollars and up for a room. While they had the lowest in town.

At first I was kind of skeptical about room rental services but that soon change when I paid the one-time fee last week. And Agent called Felix helped me to get accommodated quick and easy. Thanks.

Here i have a real review of my experience with Citi Avenues. Hope it helps. Citiavenues is a company, like many other on craigslist, that offers weekly rooms at $125 or so ( sometimes way more ) which sound like a too good to be true story e.t.c. I first went to them in June of 2011 seeking for a rental for my self. I spoke to a gentleman named felix who within 10 minutes had me fill in an application and out the door with an address in my hand. So off i went to look at these rooms which i was so nervous about ( Who, What, where e.t.c ). The first place i saw, was to my surprise actually pretty ok. I was set up with a man ( luis ) who owned a private house by valentine ave in the bronx. he showed me very large room for $160 a week which i immediately rented. Soi guess you'd have to get lucky and catch a good room . but as far as citiavenues goes, they look pretty legit to me. Hopes this helps.

I was led to Citi Avenues while looking at housing ads on craigslist. Almost every listing that I was interested in had the same phone number linking directly back to their site. I called, talked to Freddie, he promises, you know, we have all these room rentals that you can see, that we work with... and I guarantee that you will find nice rooms with us. Just enough to hook you to get you to come down. So it was more of we do have lots of listings, we update them daily. So I went to the office and made a payment in cash to him, it was $175.00 and that's when the so-called great service ended. They were old room rentals, like you would go research when they were posted and they'd be like 2008, 2007. I’ve never spoken with anyone, no one has ever picked up the phone. I did get through a couple times, but then when I mentioned that it was in response to an ad listed on Citi Avenues, the landlords were like 'No, we don't have any affiliation. I've never heard of them.’ I complained to Freddie but he just tried to redirect the conversation or talk over me. It was all a big hoax. I called the Better Business Bureau and they have been receiving complaints about Citi Avenues and Rentasy Rentals (Prestige Rentals) since 2005. The BBB said that THIS AGENCY never took care of their complaints or eliminated the pattern of complaints, so they were given an "F" rating (the lowest). The pattern is that consumers are paying this $175.00 fee and not able to access the rooms that is allegedly in their database. Scam 4 sure.
