Poplar Grove Utility

This "business" is truly a rip off. They are the only utility company that services the part of Tipton County we live in. We are signed up on auto-draft, trusting them contractually to bill us and remove the funds we owe them monthly from our account. Apparently their meter man "forgot" to read our meter for 3 months, and they are now trying to charge us for past three months of service, due all at one time (over 300.00). They cannot break down the amount of utilities we used per month (over the course of the 3 months we were not charged), and the way the bill reads Poplar Grove is claiming that we used NO utilities for 2 months, and the last month we used 300 dollars in utilities.



The issue that we are having with them is one of many (very rude, unhelpful) and they use their monopoly of this part of Tipton County to their, complete, advanatge. This company makes me want to go completely "off the grid".
