I LOVE going to see Dr. Maria because she truly cares about her patients, and it shows. From the moment you step into her beautifully decorated waiting room, you can tell that her first priority is to make people feel welcome and comfortable. She even furnished her exam rooms with massaging chairs – and honestly, who wouldn’t enjoy a gentle massage during a teeth cleaning? It’s refreshing to have a dentist that clearly wants to make my experience more pleasant. I would also be remiss if I neglected to compliment her staff, who go out of their way to use the new gadgets and technology available to them to teach oral care rather than harping and criticizing patients, which further exemplifies the office’s emphasis on retaining patients by making them happy. As someone who fell into the habit of avoiding the dentist for years, I’m so glad to have been referred to Dr. Maria’s and to know that I can get any dental need met at an affordable cost in an office that I genuinely enjoy visiting. read less Stephanie

We have vowed to take on one patient every year (in real need for dental care but without the means) and “give back their smile”. Dr. Maria is a Restorative Dentist. She holds a B.A. in Zoology from Miami University and received her DMD from Case Western Reserve University school of Dental Medicine. She also is a member of and lifelong student at the Kois Center for Advanced Dental Study in Seattle, WA. She is a member of the Boston Dental Alliance, a small, esteemed group of dentists and specialists who meet to share ideas and review cases monthly. She has a passion for her career and is a third generation dentist in her family. Most of all she loves implant, cosmetic, computer, and sedation dentistry.

It always amazes me how quickly time passes. It must be five years since Dr O'Connell retired and I became a patient of Dr Vasilakis. I just came back from my bi-annual dental cleaning and, as usual, I am very happy with the experience. I am currently having my teeth straightened with Invisalign and I cannot wait to have Dr Vasilakis whiten them next year. read less John

Teeth Whitening
I have been here three times now, two cleanings and a cavity. The atmosphere is very relaxed and Maria fully explains everything before proceeding. In addition, she is not pushy when it comes to additional services. She suggested that I get a mouth guard, but didn't hound me like a used car salesman. Also, when we discussed teeth whitening, she said I could use Crest white strips if I had more time and didn't want to spend as much.
