Massa's Restaurant

I had just arrived from San Diego and was introduce to a great little gem of Saint Louis. Massa's restaurant, it was warm and inviting with more of a family type of environment. The timing of our meal was spot on, from the timing of our appetizers to the smile just before our incredible meal. This was enough to help me forget about my long flight. Yes; I will be returning here again. (**** Stars) Now what really got my attention was what happened next. I left my personal organizer on the table and then returned 20 mins later to find that it was gone. I asked the team & manager if they had seen it and of course the answer was no. I was so very upset at myself for leaving it and was getting ready to go, but then was stopped by the sound of the entire team. Yes, from the manager to the cook everyone started looking for my organizer. Then my waitress & I went out to the dumpster not only to look around but she went a step further and climbed into the dumpster. She pulled out a few bags of trash to ensure that all bases where covered in the search for my organizer. I was overwhelmed that 9:45pm after she had pulled a long day and after Massa was closed that she still went the extra mile to help a customer find his piece of mind. What could have been a "sorry we found nothing" turned into a team pulling together to help me a visitor find not only my organizer put a smile with-in my heart that this team cares enough to put me first; which I am sure they do with all there customers. Was the organizer found, no. Why because it got shuffled in with some of my bags from shopping that day and then turned up in my friends kitchen when we arrived home from dinner. So YES it was found no thanks to my stupidity but a BIG THANKS to the team & management who went the extra mile just for me. Thank You so very much for my outstanding meal & piece of mind. I will return again before I leave. (**** Stars) is now (***** Stars) a place everyone should stop in for a bite and a smile.
