CREA was formed in 1997 to exclusively represent tenants and buyers of commercial properties. It continues today with the same initial directive to avoid conflicts of interest and provide a concentrated focus on protecting tenants in lease negotiations and especially lease renewals. Tim Stowell, CCIM is founder of Corporate Real Estate Advisors. His experience in representing landlords early in his career provides him with an understanding of their negotiating strategies, preferred structure of business terms, and the unspoken operating conditions. Mr. Stowell’s expertise in developing effective strategies, evaluating the risks in each transaction, and his ability to successfully present his ideas, provides his clients the winning edge that they seek in the complex field of commercial real estate. Mr. Stowell was granted the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) in 1993 by the CCIM Institute, a division of the National Association of Realtors. This designation is known as the “PhD” of commercial real estate and has been earned by less than 5% of all commercial brokers nationwide. Mr. Stowell is an instructor on Tenant Representation Services and a speaker on Avoiding Landlord Profit Centers.
