Shedmaster

So, I checked out the obvious: Lowe's, Home Depot, and figured out that you fill out a form, they build it, ship it and a local installer installs it. Nobody on site knows anything about the product, no one can answer questions- very frustrating process.



I also visited Mike G. @ Shedmaster and was impressed with his calm nature, his questions about what I was trying to accomplish, his ability to bring solutions & pricing together so quickly, which kept us on track and focused. It was very rewarding to build it together, meeting all of my needs, some of my wants, and within my modest budget.



In a very short time, we had figured out the size, style, siding, roofing, # of windows, flooring material & the additional support requirements of my 'specific' shed and the pricing was extremely competitive. I hadn't been able to do that with the 'Big Box' store papers provided, along with the lack of knowledge, nor would I ever know who built my shed?



Because Mike was very busy (another good sign!) he scheduled delivery for 3 weeks out, came out to see the site the week before, recommended a different location than what I had planned for a well considered variety of reasons which made great sense, corrected my roof shingle color & style on his own and even checked the color of the siding to the house with my wife (I'm color blind)!



ShedMaster's communication was excellent, appropriate, timely & buyer's expectations were managed very well. Mike went above & beyond in every way, from design/build, to, roof details, to placement of the windows for light and flooring thickness & support.



There are other local shed manufacturers, but, Mike is a great person, a professional expert, experienced in his chosen area, and, I never could have acheived what he delivered & installed from any other manufacturer, for the modest price paid, the quality and beauty of the finished product next to my house, across the driveway. Don't laugh, but, I'm proud of my shed!



It's so handsome, matches the property so well, and its the right size for my needs. I'm going to wire it, light it, insulate it, install wallboard & plastic tile flooring and finish it. I can install a small thru the wall A/C & heater, work on my project motorcycles, have friends hang out & watch a football game. A concept that shows the quality of the basic product, and, something I never would have considered with any other product that I looked at!
