Overall

I have been going to this office for only about 6 months now, and I LOVE IT! They know who I am every time I come in. The front desk receptionist always has a smile on her face and is very nice to me.

I am in the office very frequently due to my prescription refills, an illness, or just for a check up, so they already know who I am when I come in.

One time I had called at least three times to reschedule an appointment I just kept pushing back, and the receptionist totally understood my situation and was very flexible with my needs. She even joked around with me a little bit, which I liked very much. That made me feel very comfortable.

Also, I had called one day needing a referral to a pain management doctor that took my insurance due to my back. The receptionist took that message for the doctor and told me they would get back to me. I figured that THEY would call me and tell me a list of pain management offices that took my insurance and I had to choose one, call them and set everything up. Nope. They did it for me. THE NEXT DAY I got a call from a pain management physician saying that my PCP had called them referring me to them, and they already processed my insurance and everything for me! I didn't have to do all the dirty work! My doctor's office did it for me! WONDERFUL! I couldn't be more impressed. I wouldn't of minded doing it myself, but the fact that they took the initiative to do it themselves shows me they cared.

My doctor that I see is Eva Laukhuf. I have never actually seen or spoken to her, but when I come in for a check up or whatever it may be, I always see the nurse practitioner, Dina Dahlquist. She is AMAZING! I absolutely LOVE her to death! When I call to make an appointment and the receptionist asks who my doctor is I always say, "Dr. Laukhuf, but I always see the Nurse Practitioner, Dina Dahlquist." She is always so caring and concerned for my health or whatever is wrong with me that day, and she is the SWEETEST nurse I have ever gone to. She doesn't just ask about what's wrong with me health wise, but she also asks about ME, my life, my son, work and school. She is very interested in what's going on in my life and I LOVE that in a doctor/nurse practitioner. I have an HMO insurance (which isn't the best, mostly for poor people who can't afford insurance), but it doesn't matter because she doesn't treat me any differently than she would if I had the best insurance out there.

Even the medical assistant that calls you back is AWESOME! She is also VERY sweet and always asks how I am doing and how school and work is going.

I just love that in a practice where everyone is so very nice and attentive. They have even opened their doors for me after hours because I needed help on something and needed to talk with my nurse practitioner.

I highly recommend this practice. They truly care about you and work with you on any situation.

Overall

The worst front desk and nurse staff ever. They screwed up all sorts of things, and when I went in to confront them, they ganged up on me, didn't listen, and the nurse even said, (direct quote) "I'm not sorry." My grievances were: They did routine bloodwork and didn't call me for a month about it. When I expressed that, she shoved the results into my hand (like I could interpret them?) I called 2 times for a script refill, they didn't fill it, then called me 20 minutes before they closed to tell me it was ready. (And they closed early that day for some reason, at 3:30 pm!?) Dr. Pam wanted medical records from 11 years ago for some reason...like I could get those?? I had to leaf through my own medical records to find information for her. They are incompetent and rude. I left in tears, how can you trust someone with your body and health when they are so rude and uncaring? You can't. STAY AWAY from this place.
