Family Practice Physician Opportunity: Come join a dynamic team of family physicians and nurse practitioners at Bradenton East Integrative Medicine. We are looking for a dedicated professional who wants to both optimize wellness by focusing on preventive care and to give excellent up to date care of acute and chronic illness. Our practice cares for children over the age of 14 and adults of all ages. We utilize health coaching and nutritional counseling as well as pharmaceuticals for treatment of various chronic conditions. This is an outpatient only full-time position.
Primary Care
Carol provides excellent personalized, quality medical care to her patients. She provides primary care services including physicals, hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol management, and women’s health, as well as same day urgent care visits.
Family Practice
My undergraduate education was at the University of Virginia where I earned a BS in Nursing. After three years in both hospital and public health nursing, I entered the Medical College of Virginia to study medicine. From there I went to northern New England for my family practice residency in Augusta, Maine. There I met my husband and started my family. After completing my residency training we moved to Exeter, New Hampshire where I initially worked with a community health center as a National Health Service Corps scholar. We fell in love with the area and raised our sons there. After 21 years with the health center, I spent a year as a traveling physician – a great way to see the country and do useful work at the same time. I was fortunate to work with the Navajo people in Arizona, and then continue my travels in New Mexico and Washington State.
Emergency Care
Her first “love” in healthcare was as an RN in the Emergency Department in 2001. She was selected to participate in the GWAC Critical Care Consortium in the greater D.C. Metropolitan area where her cardiac and emergency skills were grounded into her daily practice and assessment skills.

Masks are not required but patients may wear one if they prefer. We are still not seeing patients with respiratory illness in the office unless they have a negative COVID test. If you have a respiratory illness, you can come to the office and a nurse can test you for COVID and Flu while you remain in your vehicle. If you are negative for both then you can be seen in the office with a mask on. If you are positive for either then we provide a telehealth appointment while you are in your vehicle. We do not offer COVID vaccinations in the office at this time.

Labor and Delivery
She moved to Florida in 2007 where she worked as an RN in Labor and Delivery at Desoto Memorial Hospital in Arcadia, Florida making sure the women and babies always received quality, compassionate care until 2015.

Internal Medicine
Carol graduated from the University of South Florida with a Master’s of Science Degree in Nursing. Carol has over 14 years experience in Internal Medicine. She previously worked locally as a Registered Nurse for over 20 years.
