Pulmonary Center, established in 1968 and a part of Boston University School of Medicine, operates clinical research facilities and offers diagnosis and treatment of lung diseases. The services offered by the center include individualized assessments and treatment, discharge planning, financial support and clinical trials. The rehabilitation services offered by the center include long-term mechanical ventilation, recreational and speech therapies and physical exercises. It offers postdoctoral training programs in pulmonary and critical care medicine and allergy and immunology. The center also undertakes research studies in amyloidosis, pulmonary hypertension, systemic sclerosis and sepsis. Pulmonary Center is located in Boston.
