Waters Stanley J Orthopedic Surgery

Since my first visit a few months ago, I took a liking to Dr Waters 'bed side manner'. He was engaging, witty, and I love that his very friendly dog, Sully, is the office mascot. Dr Waters explained in detail what he saw in my x-rays of my left knee. Although the indications were not very positive, i.e., bone-on-bone, etc, he didn't go straight to recommending surgery to replace my knee joint. I have extreme arthritis throughout my entire body. This man has given me cortisone shots w/o any pain or discomfort which I can attest is the only physician who knows how to accomplish that. I have had 2 hip replacements and his compassion and bedside manner is the best I have ever seen. If you want a physician who knows what he's doing plus has bedside manner, please visit him.

Dr. Waters has been my orthopaedic physician since 1997. He has done a knee scope and a total knee for me and has been exceptional in his bedside manner and care. He is the best cortisone injection giver ever. His staff treats you very professionally and are extremely helpful. You cannot go wrong having Dr. Waters as your physician.

Dr. Waters leaves much to be desired as a doctor. I thought a man with the educational background he has would exhibit the tiniest amount of respect and compassion for his fellow human, but I was wrong. One visit in his office was enough for me to never return, and never recomend him to anyone I know. There are many great orthopedic doctors in the Treasure Valley who have expereince and bed side manner that will make you feel like you are more than a paycheck and genuinely care about your condition and recovery. Dr. Waters is NOT ONE OF THEM!!
